Hire Purchase or Leasing

We often get asked if it best to but a machine or van out right, on Hire Purchase or to lease.

There are various things to consider, the cash available, the differences between HP and Leasing, the effects of Capital Allowances.

These rates are for the National Living Wage (for those aged 23 and over) and the National Minimum Wage (for those of at least school leaving age). These rates are effective from 1 April 2024.
